  • Attendees will be asked to work on real problems and situations they encounter in their job.
  • They learn to clearly define the problem, the root causes and the group technique of brainstorming.
  • They learn to analyze an operation using common six sigma tools
  • We introduce the team approach of Toyota Kata and the use of Kaizen events for managing and sustaining continuous improvement.

About the Instructors

Kocer Consulting and Engineering has been providing lean, six sigma and continuous improvement training and facilitation for over 12 years.  In the last two years Kocer Consulting + Engineering has provided over 65 Lean/Six Sigma/TOC Training Classes to a wide range of industries.


Wai Ho Ng

Wai has helped over 60 companies in the last five years to improve their operations, systems, customer service and profits through Lean training and on-site facilitation.  Wai has worked in manufacturing, distribution and supply chain operations his entire career and he understands how to apply lean and theory of constraints to real work situations.  Wai is an expert in operations and systems consulting and master instructor with a specialty in hands-on learning.  Wai has a Masters in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Washington and has worked at Kocer Consulting + Engineering for four years.



Jeff Gray

Jeff is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has over 25 years of experience facilitating and training  Lean, Six Sigma, DFSS and Theory of Constraints in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Financial, Technology, Gas & Energy, Transportation, Government / Military, Service, Healthcare, Commercial Construction / Real Estate & Community Relations.  Jeff is a dynamic instructor that can relate to his students.  He has worked with smaller startups up to Fortune 100 companies and has recently facilitated 17 enterprise projects that resulted in cycle time reduction, revenue growth / recognition, work standardization, customer satisfaction, and improved quality of work life for those involved.  Jeff graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from City University in Bellevue, WA and received his professional Six Sigma training and certification from Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, Microsoft, ASQ, AIAG & PACCAR.  He is the author of several Six Sigma training videos and supporting resource materials.
